Observed human signals frequently continue beyond the interaction that produced them. Words, gestures, memories, locations, and recorded transmissions remain capable of affecting subjects who are no longer in direct contact with their source.

These residual effects are being evaluated as possible evidence that connection may persist without continued presence.
